SNOWBOARDING LEGENDS CROWNED AS INAUGURAL CALI PASS BANKED SLALOM TOUR ROARS TO A CLOSE

 

Pinecrest, CA - March 22, 2024

 

The $30,000 Cali Pass Banked Slalom Tour culminated in an epic finale March 16th crowning Nate Holland and Melissa Shulz as Open Champions. After a thrilling series at Mountain High, China Peak, and Dodge Ridge, these riders solidified their place in snowboarding history.

 

More than 275 competitors battled for glory during the three-stop tour, showcasing the depth of talent and passion within the banked slalom community.  Olympian, Nate Holland, swept the Men's Open division at every stop, his powerful riding a testament to his enduring legacy. Meanwhile, Melissa Shulz secured wins at both Mountain High and Dodge Ridge, her consistency and speed earning her the Women's Open championship.

 

"This tour was absolutely epic!" exclaimed Holland. "The courses, the community, the whole energy – this is what snowboarding's about. Even better, my daughter got to race alongside me! I can't wait to come back and defend my title next year."

The competition was intense across every division, fueled by generous support from more than 20 major sponsors. The energy was palpable as riders, friends, and families cheered from the sidelines, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
