Evening, my friends
Glass’O’Red in hand, with the #StokeLevelRising as I am now reading and seeing through the model runs a potential shift in the force and the return of #MotherNaturesNatural. After a bit of a dry spell, Ole #MotherNature and Ullr might have a holiday surprise up their sleeves for our Cali Pass resorts.
The latest whispers from the National Weather Service hint at a potential pattern shift late next week, with a trough bringing much-needed snow to the Sierra. While there's still some uncertainty about the exact details, the forecast models are painting a promising picture.

Here's what we're seeing:
Increased chance of precipitation: A 35 to 75% chance of 1 inch or more of precipitation in the Sacramento Valley, with a 10 to 20% probability in the northern San Joaquin Valley. This means those rain clouds are gathering, ready to unleash their frosty magic!
Snow levels dropping: The snow level is predicted to hover around 5,000 ft, blanketing our beloved peaks in a fresh layer of #MaNatural.
Significant snowfall possible: The models show a 35 to 70% chance of 12 inches or more of snowfall at elevations of 5,000 ft and higher. Imagine waking up to a winter wonderland at Bear Valley, Dodge Ridge, China Peak, and Mtn High this year!
